Software Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, code, test and debug Web and Windows based applications
  • Will be involved in full product/software development life cycle
  • Analysis and resolution of systems issues as identified by the QA department and /or customers
  • Develop product installation programs/scripts
  • Work closely with team members and managers on design and development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering and 4+ years of software development experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Must excel in a fast-paced, lean, entrepreneurial work environment
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Must pass a security background check
Required Skills
  • 4+ years development experience in Microsoft Windows and web environments comprised of ASP.NET, C#, HTML/DHTML and JavaScript
  • Strong Transact SQL and general DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Familiarity with IIS hosting and administration
  • Must have the ability to develop framework/reusable components using C#
  • Must have strong experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Must be detail oriented, team player, flexible with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work through issues independently
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Forms
  • Experience with AJAX
  • Development experience in other technologies such as COM and C++ helpful
  • Experience with Oracle SQL
  • Development of multi-threaded applications and services
  • Experience with XML/XSL, Web Services and .NET remoting
  • Ability to deal directly with customers
  • Some experience in software development consulting a plus
