Secure Hosting

Thanks to PaperClip's eXchange4 Secure Hosting software, users are empowered to electronically transmit documents securely over the Internet to a third party, without requiring recipients to download documents. eXchange4 Secure Hosting enables users to provide business partners secure access to large document files outside of their production system through any standard browser.

With eXchange4 Secure Hosting, users upload selected documents to the eXchange4 Secure Hosting server. The intended recipient is e-mailed a link, which leads to a password-protected web page that enables the recipient to view the submitted documents from the eXchange4 Secure Hosting server. Recipients do not need to own or download software to view the documents.

eXchange4 Secure Hosting will notify the sender once the documents have been viewed. If the documents are not viewed within 36 hours, a second notice is sent to the intended recipient. A third and final notice is sent within 72 hours if the documents have not been viewed. After five days, the metadata is rolled into the history file for future inquiry, and the documents are purged from the Secure Hosting server.
